Compatible AgentsThe repository documents support for these agents. The skills may also work with other agents that can load SKILL.md files, but they may need some setup or small changes.

Use this skill collection

Follow the documented setup, then try a first task.

Install for a single developer

Installs: The unreal-engine-skills-for-claude-code plugin for a single developer, including its documented unreal-mcp skill and SessionStart hook. · Claude Code

Before you start
  • Claude Code with access to claude-plugins-official.
  • Unreal Editor with ModelContextProtocol and AllToolsets enabled.
  • For live tool calls, the editor must be running with its MCP server started and its client connection configured.

Give it something to do.

Suggested first task

Inspect an actor in the current level

Uses unreal-mcp

  • An actor name or identifier in the current level.
  • A running Unreal Editor with ModelContextProtocol and AllToolsets enabled, an active MCP server, and a configured client connection.
Use the unreal-mcp skill to inspect the actor I identify in the current level. Discover the relevant tools and report its transform and readable properties. Keep this inspection read-only.

Suggested first task

Review an Unreal Agent Skill

Uses unreal-skill

  • The description and instructions of an existing Unreal Engine Agent Skill.

Make sure unreal-skill is installed in your agent before trying this task.

Use the unreal-skill skill to review the Unreal Engine Agent Skill I provide. Evaluate its description and instructions for novelty, clarity, durability, infrastructure independence, and brevity. Give me the three most useful improvements without editing files.

Suggested first task

Assess a proposed toolset extension

Uses create-toolset

  • A description of the capability to expose through Unreal MCP.
  • Access to the project's toolset source files or a running editor with an MCP connection.
  • For Python coverage assessment, generated Python stubs; the skill documents enabling Python Developer Mode and restarting the editor if they are absent.

Make sure create-toolset is installed in your agent before trying this task.

Use the create-toolset skill to assess the tool capability I describe before writing code. Check whether it already exists, identify the appropriate existing toolset or broader abstraction, and compare Python and C++ API coverage. Recommend the smallest useful API and leave implementation language selection to me.
