Terms of Service
Guidelines for using the site, understanding its rankings, and respecting the rights in its content.
Effective 6 October 2026
Operator and scope
The Skill Leaderboard is operated by Milos Milovanovic, an individual based in Belgrade, Serbia. These guidelines describe use of the website, its public rankings, skill pages, badges, and related data endpoints. Browsing the site does not constitute acceptance of a separate contract. Any advertising agreement is made separately.
An informational ranking service
The site organizes information from public GitHub repositories and adds rankings, classifications, and editorial context. Rankings and scores are comparative signals, not security audits, certifications, endorsements, or promises that a skill is suitable for a particular task. Read the methodology for the current selection and ranking approach.
Repository data and rankings can change. Information may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong, and the site may correct, add, reorder, or remove listings as its data and methods evolve. You are responsible for reviewing a repository, its code, instructions, permissions, and license before using or installing anything linked from the site.
Acceptable use
You may browse and link to public pages and use public features for their intended purpose. You must not:
- interfere with, overload, probe, or bypass security or access controls;
- use the service to distribute malware or carry out unlawful activity;
- misrepresent a ranking, badge, or site content as an endorsement or certification; or
- remove attribution or technical notices from site materials where they apply.
GitHub content, source code, and site content
Repository names, owner information, avatars, descriptions, skill files, and other upstream materials belong to their respective owners and are subject to the licenses and terms that apply at the source. A listing does not grant you rights to reuse an upstream project.
Public availability of a source repository alone does not grant a license: a specific license notice, when present, controls permitted reuse. The operator retains rights in original site design, writing, classifications, and other original content except where another license or third-party right applies.
Availability and responsibility
The service is provided on an as-available basis. The operator does not promise that every page, ranking, data point, or external link will always be available, current, accurate, or free from harmful material. External repositories and services are operated by their respective providers. Nothing on this page limits rights or responsibilities that apply under mandatory law.
Corrections, removal, and contact
To report an error, request review of a listing, raise an intellectual-property concern, or ask about these terms, email milos@skillleaderboard.com. Include the relevant URL and enough detail to review the request.
Changes
If these terms are updated, the date at the top will change. Material revisions will be presented clearly. Changes apply prospectively from the stated date and do not create retroactive consent.
