If switching from a Claude Code standalone installation, compare its standalone tree with the plugin's bundled skills/econ-write tree after installing and verifying the plugin. Remove the standalone copy only when it is byte-for-byte identical. If it is modified, back it up under ~/.openeconai/backups/econ-write/<timestamp>/, where <timestamp> is replaced with the backup timestamp. Then recheck both states and confirm that only the native plugin remains active.
