Before you start
Claude Code must already be installed.
Complete the applicable repository prerequisites. jq is required for hooks; ruff is required for the Python formatting hook; Prettier 3.6.2 and prettier-plugin-sh are required for the documented formatting hooks.
In a terminal, add the marketplace and install the simplify plugin bundle.

At the root of each project that should use the shared guidance, copy the repository's `.claude/CLAUDE.md` contents into a project-level file named `CLAUDE.md`. This selects the documented project-file alternative rather than the home-directory sync alternative.
In a terminal at that same project root, create the documented cross-tool compatibility links beside `CLAUDE.md`.
