TL;DR

This skill enables the management of Obsidian vaults as living systems where sources update existing pages and scheduled agents maintain structure. It is designed for users who need to automate knowledge synthesis, from logging development work and tracking decisions to maintaining kanban boards.

The system includes a research toolkit for capturing findings from YouTube, podcasts, and various AI search engines, allowing users to bootstrap new vaults or synchronize operating rules across different Claude surfaces.

Give it something to do.

Suggested first task

Understand your existing vault

Uses obsidian-second-brain

  • Replace <vault-path> with the actual path to an accessible existing vault containing Markdown notes.
Use the obsidian-second-brain skill to orient yourself to my vault at <vault-path>. Read its _CLAUDE.md if present, scan its Markdown structure, and read 2–3 existing notes. Give me a brief overview of its folders, templates, naming conventions, frontmatter, and writing style. Do not modify any files.
