Compatible AgentsThe repository documents support for these agents. The skills may also work with other agents that can load SKILL.md files, but they may need some setup or small changes.

Use this skill collection

Follow the documented setup, then try a first task.

Set up an existing packaged Pickoo skill

Installs: Complete Pickoo product, including its local browser interface, Node.js server, shared task journal, and three bundled internal workflow skills.

Before you start
  • The packaged Pickoo skill directory is already available locally.
  • Node.js 20+ is installed.
  • Python 3.10+ is installed.

Run from: The packaged Pickoo skill directory

  1. Read docs/PERMISSIONS.md in the package. Before installing dependencies, downloading runtimes or models, connecting browser login state, or installing agent skills, explain the action and obtain user approval.

  2. After approval, run this terminal command in the packaged Pickoo skill directory to install Node dependencies.

    npm ci
  3. When capture is requested, obtain approval and install the Python dependencies listed in skill-source/creator-content-ingest/requirements.txt. The supplied instructions do not specify a terminal command for this step.

  4. Run this terminal command in the same skill directory, then open http://127.0.0.1:4324.

    npm start
  5. Choose the intended content library in settings, or configure PICKOO_LIBRARY_ROOT explicitly. Do not infer a personal Obsidian vault or another project's directory.

Give it something to do.

Suggested first task

Save one public link

Uses pickoo-your-favorites

  • Replace <complete share text> with one public link or its complete platform share text.
  • Have Pickoo running with the intended library configured and capture dependencies available.
Use the pickoo-your-favorites skill to save this one public link or complete share text into my configured Pickoo library: <complete share text>. Preserve the full input and source evidence, check for duplicates through Pickoo's shared intake, and report the final status. If capture is incomplete, explain what is missing.

Suggested first task

Find content in your library

Uses pickoo-your-favorites

  • Replace <topic> with a subject you want to revisit.
  • An existing Pickoo library containing saved content, selected explicitly in settings or through PICKOO_LIBRARY_ROOT.
Use the pickoo-your-favorites skill to search my configured Pickoo library for <topic>. Show up to three relevant saved items with their titles and source references so I can choose what to read.
